About the role
Labcorp is seeking a Courier to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. This position includes a company vehicle for route use, with the option to take the vehicle home for personal use for $125 per month.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Load all necessary supplies needed for the daily pickups
- Complete daily pickup schedule in a timely manner
- Deliver all daily pickups to your branch at the end of your shift
- Handle all specimens and lab samples in a safe and efficient manner
- Safely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
- Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups
- Work directly with dispatcher for additional pickups as needed
- Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- 21 years of age or older
- Punctual with strong time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Customer service experience
- Ability to problem solve customer issues
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Qualifications
- Minimum: No experience or education required
- Preferred:
- Current or prior Labcorp experience
- 2 or more years of professional courier or route-based delivery experience within a medical or laboratory company
- 1 or more years of experience handling medical specimens or supporting hospital/laboratory operations
- 2 or more years of experience using handheld delivery-management devices or route optimization tools, such as scanners, GPS-based routing software, or dispatch applications

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
