Job Functions, Duties, Responsibilities

• Perform vital patient care process by transporting reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens between the laboratory and healthcare provider locations.
• Ensure proper specimen handling, transport, and safe operation of a motor vehicle.
• Interact with a variety of clients and provide customer-focused service.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

Position Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record for the past three years.
• Confidence operating a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions and navigating routine hazards of the road.
• Physical capability of light to medium lifting (up to 50lbs).
• Two or more years of experience operating conventional vehicles for business purposes (cars, trucks, or vans).
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
