Courier (as needed)

Responsibilities

• Aware of hospital and department compliance for federally funded healthcare programs (e.g. Medicare and Medicaid) regarding fraud, waste and abuse.
• Safely transports lab specimens from clinics and hospitals to other clinics and hospitals.
• Sorts and delivers US Postal Service mail and all interdepartmental mail.
• Reports maintenance needs of courier vehicles.
• Washes, fuels, checks tires and fluids of courier vehicles.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English.
• Demonstrates good driving skills.
