County Intellectual Disabilities Program Specialist 1 (Local Government)

About the role

This position supports key quality improvement and oversight efforts within the county. The work strengthens services through planning, review, and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage quality management plans that align with statewide strategies
• Lead risk management activities through data collection and coordination of review processes
• Complete certified investigations and present findings to appropriate teams
• Take part in quarterly peer reviews for certified investigations
• Guide the Independent Monitoring for Quality initiative, including survey and data organization
• Use required systems for early intervention reporting and tracking
• Conduct financial monitoring and annual contract reviews
• Assist with additional tasks that help maintain smooth department operations

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of professional experience in the field of intellectual disabilities, and a bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of experience and training
• You must meet the PA residency requirement
• You must be able to perform essential job functions

Schedule
