Counter Warehouse Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with clients through phone, email, and in-person consultations, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Accurately process and manage customer transactions at the sales counter using the company’s computer system to ensure efficient and precise order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with management and team members to communicate customer needs and special order material requests, enhancing product offerings and service delivery.
• Order pulling/picking/staging
• Replenishment/shipping/receiving
• Staging orders for delivery and loading company vehicles in a warehouse/yard environment
• Focusing on safe work practices, such as wearing PPE, proper lifting techniques, etc. while performing daily duties and using company equipment

Minimum Qualifications

• Prior experience in a customer service or sales role is preferred; experience in managing customer relationships with a focus on customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty, ensuring a personalized and positive purchasing experience.
• Proficiency in basic computer operations and internet navigation.
• Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment preferred.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs; 50 lbs on as needed basis.
• Ability to work in varied conditions, including outdoor and warehouse environments.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed during the peak season.
• Capability to pass a pre-employment background/drug test.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, shipping and receiving department, or similar environment.

Pay

The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $19.00 to $25.00 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.

Schedule

This full-time role requires a four-day workweek, including Saturday during the Spring and Summer, with the option for a five-day workweek during peak seasons.
