About the role
Parsons is looking for a Counter Threat Finance Intel Analyst to support complex projects focused on the Indo-Pacific region. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter able to work across multiple staff sections to collect, fuse, and share intelligence to combat drug-related transnational crime.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including intelligence, policy/plans, and operations to support U.S. law enforcement agencies and interagency partners across the PACOM AOR to disrupt transnational threat networks and their financial lifelines.
- Apply knowledge of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), all-source intelligence, and Counter-Threat Finance (CTF) methodologies and tradecrafts to support operational planning, targeting, and network interdiction by delivering actionable insights on adversary activities, capabilities, and illicit financial flows.
- Utilize specialized IC, public, and commercial tools to conduct threat finance analysis, map illicit transaction networks, identify key financial facilitators, and create actionable intelligence products to support law enforcement and interagency actions.
- Exercise the ability to assess and provide feedback to intelligence support efforts, ensuring continuous improvements in operational effectiveness, threat finance analysis, and the targeting process.
- Utilize Publicly/Commercially Available Information (PAI/CAI) through threat finance, OSINT, and other database tools.
- Employ familiarity with DoD security cooperation frameworks, threat finance authorities and how they apply to law enforcement and interagency initiatives.
- Collaborate with interagency liaisons, case agents, financial intelligence units, and intelligence analysts to share, generate, and collect leads, corroborate operational and financial information, and enable a joint approach to actioning targets of interest.
- Develop, create, and execute knowledge management across the client's portfolio; utilize SharePoint, Microsoft products, and information-sharing databases to share and collaborate findings with internal and external partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree with 5 years of relevant work experience (additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree).
- 5 years of experience with Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), all-source intelligence, and Counter-Threat Finance (CTF) methodologies and tradecrafts supporting operational planning, targeting, and network interdiction delivering actionable insights on adversary activities, capabilities, and illicit financial flows.
- Ability to synthesize disparate operational, transactional, and financial data from multiple sources into coherent, actionable intelligence reports and documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to proofread, edit, and finalize products for senior leader briefings and external organizations.
- Highly proficient in SharePoint, Microsoft Office tools, and data-sharing tools and databases.
- Valid US Passport.
- Active DoD TS security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting DoD, counter-drug, and law enforcement missions.
- Experience supporting USINDOPACOM intelligence or operations.
- Prior experience in Counter-Threat Finance (CTF), financial intelligence (FININT), or anti-money laundering (AML) analysis supporting DoD, counter-drug, and law enforcement missions.
Security Clearance
An active Top Secret security clearance is required to apply, however, the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance prior to the start date.
Pay
Salary Range: $88,400.00 - $154,700.00
