About the role

We are so much more than a Parts Store and we are looking for great talent to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Automotive Parts Specialist you don’t need to be able to tear a motor down and rebuild it (though that’s a plus), but a background and knowledge of automotive parts is preferred. This position offers a pathway to a long‑term career with NAPA, flexible day or night shifts, and opportunities to explore other roles within the company.

Responsibilities

• Provide and source parts for specialized equipment for our fleet customers.
• Use parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members and answer customer questions.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and interact with management and technicians.
• Bring customer focus and high energy to a fast‑paced environment.
• Ask appropriate questions to ensure correct parts are researched and sourced.
• Inform customers on parts availability.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or a willingness to learn all things auto parts.
• High school diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses or degree are a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Great listening skills and empathy for customers.
• Ability to work on or around an airport environment in a shop setting.
• Background or passion for the automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership (optional).
• Experience with airport ground support equipment (optional).
• Knowledge of cataloging, sourcing, and/or inventory management systems (optional).
• Customer‑centric mindset (both external and internal).
• ASE certifications (optional).
