About the Role

We are seeking a NAPA Automotive Parts Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in automotive parts, whether through industry experience or personal interest. It offers opportunities for career growth within our organization, from parts specialist to other roles within NAPA.

Responsibilities

• Provide and source parts for specialized equipment for our fleet customers.
• Use parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members and answer customer questions.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and interact with management and technicians.
• Ask appropriate questions to ensure correct parts are researched and sourced.
• Inform customers on parts availability.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or a willingness to learn all things auto parts.
• High School Diploma or GED; Technical or Trade school courses or degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Great listening skills and empathy for customers.
• Ability to work on or around an airport environment in a shop setting.

Qualifications

• Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership (preferred but not required).
• Experience in airport ground support equipment (preferred but not required).
• Knowledge of cataloging, sourcing, and/or inventory management systems (a plus).
• Entirely customer-centric approach (both external and internal).
• ASE Certifications (a plus but not required).

Pay

This position offers a starting hourly rate of $13.75. For other positions, the starting rate will be determined based on individual skills, experience, and qualifications.
