Counter Sales - Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities

• Receive and place inventory into stock
• Pick and pack orders for delivery
• Timely and accurate delivery and/or pickup of goods to specified locations
• Load and unload trucks and trailers in an accurate and efficient manner
• Warehouse housekeeping and inventory control
• Become familiar with delivery routes and customers' preferences
• Perform warehouse duties when called upon, including materials handling, shipping and receiving, and picking and packing orders

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver's license
• High school diploma or GED; six months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Current medical certification card and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a medical certification card

Physical Demands

Often standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and stooping. Occasional sitting, talking/hearing. Use of hands/fingers is often needed. Continuous lifting and carrying 1‑20 lb; frequent lifting and carrying 21‑50 lb; occasional lifting and carrying 51‑100 lb (assistance of a buddy‑lift or mechanical device is advised).

Vision Requirements

• Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)
• Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more)
• Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point)
• Depth perception (three‑dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships)
