Counter Sales - Warehouse Associate

Primary Duties

  • Aid in resolving customer requests and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Sell products and services, offer additional products, and suggest alternatives when necessary.
  • Maintain and update merchandise and literature displays.
  • Develop knowledge of Crescent product inventory, its location, and sales techniques.
  • Stay updated on market trends, new products, and their applications.
  • Support and back up inside sales representatives and warehouse personnel as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Previous wholesale electrical distribution product knowledge and sales experience preferred.

Physical Demands

  • Often standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and stooping.
  • Occasional sitting, talking, hearing, using hands/fingers.
  • Lifting and carrying: Continuous 1-20 lbs, frequent 21-50 lbs, occasional 51-100 lbs.
  • Assistance from a buddy-lift or mechanical device recommended.

Vision Requirements

  • Close vision (clear at 20 inches or less).
  • Distance vision (clear at 20 feet or more).
  • Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area up and down or left and right).
  • Depth perception (ability to judge distances and spatial relationships).
