Counter Sales Flooring Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers with a proactive sales approach.
• Properly enter bids, quotes, and orders for customers, managers, and outside sales personnel.
• Take telephone sales and provide information services for customers and outside sales personnel.
• Restock, clean, and organize shelves in the showroom.
• Support the warehouse with fulfillment when needed.
• Properly pull orders for customers.
• Follow the proper opening and closing procedures.
• Balance cash drawer at the end of the shift.
• Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent degree. 1-3 years of experience in a customer service environment.
• Other Qualifications: Able to perform basic math skills and reading comprehension. Experience in the flooring industry is a plus. Must be able to regularly lift up to 75 lbs. Able to work with computers for a long period of time. Be able to pass a background check and drug test for pre-employment screening. Legally permitted to work in the United States.
