Counter Sales Associate

Counter Sales Associates provide superior service to customers at the Famous Supply branch, in person and via the phone. We specialize in plumbing and HVAC. Knowledge in these fields is preferred to keep our customer service efficient. Famous Supply is looking for Counter Associates at our Mentor, OH location!

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and helpful customer service
• Understand customer needs
• Provide the products and solutions to meet customer needs
• Process and schedule customer orders
• Manage Open Orders and customer Bids
• Pull orders from the warehouse to serve customers
• Keep counter area clean and organized

Required Experience And Skills

• HVAC and/or Plumbing knowledge
• Customer service mindset
• Able to use computer
• Able to stand on feet for majority of an 8-hour day
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs

Preferred Experience And Skills

• Forklift experience
• Retail Scanner Experience
• Warehouse Experience
