Counter Clerk

Essential Responsibilities & Expectations

• Accurately process and complete parts orders with minimal supervision
• Assemble hydraulic hoses without supervision
• Identify hydraulic hose and fitting size and type; build replacement hoses to match specifications
• Operate all material handling equipment in a safe manner
• Respond appropriately to customer demands
• Maintain valid driver’s license and material handling equipment operator certifications
• Attend to afterhours call schedule as required
• Mentor other parts department employees as needed
• Perform other duties assigned by management as needed

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Work experience involving shipping or parts operations related tasks is preferable.
• Skills and Competencies: Written communication skills, telephone and verbal communication skills, basic computing skills
• Job Training: Area specific parts operations training, OSHA required training, Material handling equipment operator certification, Compliance training, Safety training
