Essential Responsibilities & Expectations
- Accurately process and complete parts orders with minimal supervision
- Assemble hydraulic hoses without supervision
- Identify hydraulic hose and fitting size and type; build replacement hoses to match specifications
- Operate all material handling equipment in a safe manner
- Respond appropriately to customer demands
- Maintain valid driver’s license and material handling equipment operator certifications
- Attend to afterhours call schedule as required
- Mentor other parts department employees as needed
- Perform other duties assigned by management as needed
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Work experience involving shipping or parts operations related tasks is preferable.
- Skills and Competencies: Written communication skills, telephone and verbal communication skills, basic computing skills
- Job Training: Area specific parts operations training, OSHA required training, Material handling equipment operator certification, Compliance training, Safety training
