JOB SUMMARY
The Count Team Attendant functions as a member of the Drop Team, Drop Box Openers, Currency Counter Operator, and Recorder.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adheres to company count policies and procedures, and requirements.
- Collects gaming device drop boxes from HRM machines.
- Safeguarding un-audited assets in storage carts.
- Opens and empties unaudited money from HRM machine drop boxes.
- Runs money through the currency counter for counting.
- Records cash and paperwork activity on the drop count sheets.
- Verifies each shift’s bundles and strapped currency on a scope basis.
- Keys in information onto the computer.
- Cleans up the count room area.
- Conducts oneself in a manner that reflects positively on the property and encourages others to do the same.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience and a gaming background preferred.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license and a Race & Sportsbook employee license.

- Frequently sits or stands.
- Frequently walks.
- Frequently uses hands to finger reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Frequently reaches with hands and arms.
- Frequently stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls.
- Frequently talks or hears.
- Works in a noisy environment.
- May need to circulate throughout all gaming areas, including the smoking area, actively observing players and the functioning of machines.
