JOB SUMMARY

The Count Team Attendant plays a key role in the financial integrity of our operations by performing multiple essential functions, including Drop Crew member, Drop Box Opener, Currency Counter Operator, and Recorder. Operating in a fast-paced environment, this role is responsible for removing unaudited cash boxes from gaming machines, securely transporting them to the Count Room, and assisting in the counting process. This position will be assigned to the Poplar Level and Downtown location based on business needs. This position traditionally begins at 4:30AM and concludes at 12:30PM.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collects cash drop boxes from gaming machines and redemption kiosks.
  • Ensures compliance with company count policies, procedures, and state gaming regulations.
  • Safeguards unaudited assets by securely handling and storing cash drop boxes.
  • Retrieves cash drop boxes from storage carts, opens them and prepares funds for counting.
  • Records and documents all cash activity electronically and provides necessary paperwork to the Revenue Audit Team.
  • Verifies daily cash bundles and strapped currency to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintains cleanliness of the Count Room, including counting machines.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Experience in a gaming or related field preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a valid Racing License.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The Team Member is subjected to circulate throughout the assigned areas, including the smoking area, actively observing players and functioning of machines.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during shift.
