Count Room Representative - Full Time, Days

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance; arrives on time in a clean uniform with required name tag, ID, and licenses, ready to work with a positive, ready to learn attitude.
• Greets guests and team members warmly and professionally, supporting our Family Style Service culture.
• Works a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Transfers drop devices from casino floor to the count rooms.
• Performs and monitors team members in the daily count of drops such as Table, BV, Blind, NRT, and Bad-Beat drops.
• Sorts, counts, straps, and records the results of daily counts in accordance to departmental and regulatory policies.
• Compares and contrasts totals from physical count to those entered in the computer as well as the numbers recorded on currency counters.
• Investigates any variances and notifies count room management as to the outcome.
• Notifies count room management of malfunctioning equipment.
• Prepares reports recording any discrepancies from the computer totals to the actual physical totals.
• Documents and communicates any equipment issues to assist the vendor in providing technical support.
• Maintains an ethical work habit in adhering to regulatory, departmental, and company policies as well as ensures others follow those standards.
• Provides feedback to the management team as to the day-to-day performance of fellow co-workers.
• Performs duties as assigned by the Count Room management team

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 yrs. of age.
• Must be able to obtain a Missouri Gaming License and pass a background check.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Communicates effectively and maintains positive working relationships with guests, coworkers, and management.
• Must have excellent customer service/communication skills.
• Report to work in a neat and clean uniform, with slip resistant shoes.
• Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.
• Able to work in a loud, fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks under time constraints.
• Must have a team mentality with the ability to motivate and influence others to adopt the same team philosophy.
• Able to open small locks, grip as well as remove and replace slot boxes while maintaining a fast pace to meet time constraints.
• Mathematical ability in being able to add, subtract and utilize 10-key calculator to generate count cards.
• Able to bend, twist, turn, push and pull in order to complete drops and counts in a timely manner.
• Able to carry above and below the shoulders a minimum of 25 lbs up to 60 feet while performing the slot drop.
• Able to stand for prolonged periods of time, for up to ten hours per day.
• Can tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Able to maintain a safe working environment while being able to maneuver equipment in high traffic areas.
• Be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
• Able to maintain a fast pace under stressful conditions.
• Able to work for prolonged periods of time in a secure area while under surveillance.
• Should possess problem solving ability in being able to communicate with multiple departments to create a more efficient work environment.
