Responsibilities
- Swapping bill acceptor boxes and ensuring compliance with Gaming Commission and company policies.
- Counting and recording all currency, coin, chips, promotional coupons, table game drops, vending machine drops, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- Removing bill acceptor boxes from slot machines.
- Accuracy of all documentation concerning the drop.
- Keeping accurate account of all drop activities.
- Transporting bill acceptor carts to soft count room, accompanied by casino security and TGA.
- Pulling out chairs before the drop and pushing them back in after the drop.
- Holding yourself accountable for accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports, and maintaining confidentiality.
- Working shift work, holidays, weekends, and special events.
- Reconciling gaming revenue.
- Preparing various reports, including stiff sheets, transfer sheets, audit fills, and credit slips; reconciling all totals to the Master Summary; forwarding all information to appropriate individuals.
- Maintaining all records, reports, and other required paperwork in the Soft Count Department.
- Facilitating the flow of information by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
- Performing other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- One (1) year cash handling experience required.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to work independently and use good judgment.
- Basic mathematical functions.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong guest service and problem-solving skills.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to tolerate areas containing varying noise, smoke, and temperature levels.
- Gaming License Required.
