Count Room/Drop Team

Responsibilities

• Swapping bill acceptor boxes and ensuring compliance with Gaming Commission and company policies.
• Counting and recording all currency, coin, chips, promotional coupons, table game drops, vending machine drops, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
• Removing bill acceptor boxes from slot machines.
• Accuracy of all documentation concerning the drop.
• Keeping accurate account of all drop activities.
• Transporting bill acceptor carts to soft count room, accompanied by casino security and TGA.
• Pulling out chairs before the drop and pushing them back in after the drop.
• Holding yourself accountable for accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports, and maintaining confidentiality.
• Working shift work, holidays, weekends, and special events.
• Reconciling gaming revenue.
• Preparing various reports, including stiff sheets, transfer sheets, audit fills, and credit slips; reconciling all totals to the Master Summary; forwarding all information to appropriate individuals.
• Maintaining all records, reports, and other required paperwork in the Soft Count Department.
• Facilitating the flow of information by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
• Performing other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• One (1) year cash handling experience required.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to work independently and use good judgment.
• Basic mathematical functions.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong guest service and problem-solving skills.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to tolerate areas containing varying noise, smoke, and temperature levels.
• Gaming License Required.
