Count Room Clerk
About the role
Team members are responsible for dropping and counting the money that is pulled off the casino floor and from other revenue sources. Drops, counts, sorts, and organizes all money, chips, coupons, and other items in the drop boxes from table games, bill validators, ticket redemption kiosks, non-gaming revenue outlets, concert venue outlets, slot wallets, change machines, cash recyclers, jackpot kiosks, parking kiosks, and arcade kiosks.
Responsible for preparing cash orders for ticket redemption kiosks, loading, replenishment, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting of all ticket redemption kiosks. Loads drop boxes into transportation carts and maintains organization of additional drop boxes. Prepares count documentation, verifies count accuracy, and transfers funds to the cashier department. Communicates count information to the accounting department and assists in variance investigations. Collects, sorts, and scans paperwork from various sources and organizes on-site records storage, prepares and ships records for off-site storage. Completes data entry in various accounting systems and reconciles entries to count data. Researches and provides follow-up information for accounting inquiries.
Requirements
- Must be a High School graduate
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must be able to obtain a Gaming Card
