About the role

Position may be assigned to work in the count room or on the casino floor performing the slot or NRT drop. Responsibilities include sorting, counting, and recording the contents of table game drop boxes, slot drop boxes, non-gaming drops, and NRT drops according to procedure. You will also fill NRT cassettes, prepare NRT coin bags, and complete the replenishment of NRT coin.

Responsibilities

• Sort, count, and record the contents of table game drop boxes, slot drop boxes, non-gaming drops, and NRT drops according to procedure.
• Fill NRT cassettes and prepare NRT coin bags.
• Complete the replenishment of NRT coin.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance of Soft Count room equipment.
• Maintain general upkeep of the Soft Count room.
• Notify Supervisor of malfunctioning equipment.
• Complete special assignments for management as required.
• Understand and respond to internal guest needs in a friendly, respectful, and timely manner.
• Provide consistent, accurate information and find answers when unsure.
• Use outlined service behaviors when encountering guests.
• Meet expected service delivery times as defined by department standards.
• Cooperate with employees within the department and other departments.
• Speak positively about the company, co-workers, and guests.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Basic math skills and adding machine knowledge required.
• Currency counting machine and knowledge of computer terminal preferred.
• Basic mechanical (repair) ability helpful.
• Prior money handling and Count Room experience preferred (casino or bank).
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be capable of lifting and pushing 50 lbs.
• NJ CER License required.

Pay

$18.00 per hour
