Counselor/Therapist – Coleman Health Services: Kent, Ravenna, OH

About the Role

Coleman Health Services, a nationally recognized mental health and substance use services provider, is seeking counselors and/or social workers to join our team. Openings are available for both child/adolescent counselors and adult counselors/therapists, with locations in Kent or Ravenna, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Providing counseling and diagnostic assessment services to youth and families up to age 26
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Maintaining appropriate documentation for services
• Conducting diagnostic assessments
• Providing counseling/psychotherapy for individuals and/or groups
• Referral and linkage with other services
• Documentation of provided services

Requirements

• Master’s degree and LPC/LPCC, LSW/LISW (or higher) licensure
• Willingness to obtain an NPI and Medicaid billing number (assistance provided)
• Experience working with mental health and substance use disorders preferred
• Training in counseling-scope work with youth and families (3 years of experience preferred)
