Counselor Supervisor

About the role

Supervise Counselors and Counselor Interns who provide treatment and casework services to patients in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and with BayMark’s policies and procedures. Ensure timely documentation of patient services based on plan of care. Identify other physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs for assigned patients.

Responsibilities

• Assigns counselors’ caseloads, amends when necessary
• Conducts quality assurance file reviews
• Direct and supervise all intake operations
• Ensure efficient and effective delivery of counseling services to all patients
• Ensures accurate and current clinical records are maintained in accordance with Federal and State Regulations governing NTP clinics
• Maintain counseling caseload
• Provide direct supervision to clinicians as well as assist in the ongoing supervision of staff through meetings, in-service trainings, guest speakers, and reviewing literature
• Acts as Treatment Center Director when he/she is absent
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor

Requirements

• Current CAC-AD, LCPC, LCSW, or LCADC as a Counselor at The Professional Board of Counselors & Therapist State of Maryland
• Supervisory letter
• Prior supervisory experience
• Self-motivated and directed
• Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals
• Demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward our patient population
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check

Pay

Salary ranges from $57,000 to $90,000. This position is non-exempt and overtime eligible with prior approval. The salary of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, licensure, and training.
