Counselor (OBOT)

Responsibilities
- Conduct regular individual and group counseling sessions
- Aid patients in developing and updating treatment plans in compliance with state guidelines
- Complete intake and readmission services, including early-stage support until a primary counselor is assigned
- Provide crisis intervention and backup support for other counselors’ patients as needed
- Make appropriate referrals and coordinate care with other providers
- Support patients post-discharge with follow-up for at least 30 days
Requirements
- Adherence to program policies, schedules, and all relevant federal, state, and accreditation regulations
- License or certification to practice as a Master’s Level Counselor
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field preferred
- Valid State License or Certification as a Master’s Level Counselor
- Experience working with individuals in recovery settings
- Knowledge of addiction research and treatment trends
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Proficiency in computer software, including electronic health record systems
Pay
Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour + Bonus Structure
Schedule
Flexible schedule with early in/early out hours, no nights, and no Sundays.
