Counselor (OBOT)

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular individual and group counseling sessions
• Aid patients in developing and updating treatment plans in compliance with state guidelines
• Complete intake and readmission services, including early-stage support until a primary counselor is assigned
• Provide crisis intervention and backup support for other counselors’ patients as needed
• Make appropriate referrals and coordinate care with other providers
• Support patients post-discharge with follow-up for at least 30 days

Requirements

• Adherence to program policies, schedules, and all relevant federal, state, and accreditation regulations
• License or certification to practice as a Master’s Level Counselor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field preferred
• Valid State License or Certification as a Master’s Level Counselor
• Experience working with individuals in recovery settings
• Knowledge of addiction research and treatment trends

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Proficiency in computer software, including electronic health record systems

Pay

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour + Bonus Structure

Schedule

Flexible schedule with early in/early out hours, no nights, and no Sundays.
