Counselor I - MAT Century

About the role

The Lakeview Center Opiate Treatment Program seeks to help individuals overcome addiction to opium-derived drugs through therapeutic services. These services include assessment, treatment planning, direct service provision, person-centered services, and managing client risk and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic services within the scope of training, protocols, and competence.
• Engage in assessment and treatment planning for clients.
• Offer direct service provision tailored to individual needs.
• Implement person-centered services to enhance client well-being.
• Manage client risk and ensure client safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, rehabilitation, or a related human services field.
• At least two (2) years’ experience working with adolescents and/or adults with mental health, substance abuse, and/or co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities.
• Completion of an internship at Lakeview Center, Inc., through an accredited counseling/social work program, can substitute for the two years of post-graduate experience.
• Able to provide individualized, integrated mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring services.
• Pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $20.2255 to $21.8558 per hour.
