About the Role

Join GT School in Georgetown, TX, and be the catalyst for gifted K-12 students to complete high school 5-10 times faster than traditional schooling. Your role is to coach students through life skills, motivation, and personal development, leveraging adaptive software and AI tools to deliver a transformative educational experience.

Responsibilities

• Run one-hour life skill workshops on topics like public speaking, focus, and giving/receiving feedback, using a mastery-based approach with Test2Pass assessments.
• Lead daily motivation sessions, reviewing Coachbot analytics and connecting with students' personal goals to drive advancement.
• Personalize coaching using generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to adapt sessions to individual student profiles.
• Review curriculum and lesson plans to deliver engaging, playbook-compliant workshops with high satisfaction scores.
• Track satisfaction and advancement metrics, adjusting approaches to ensure student engagement and progress.

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Delivering academic content, tutoring, or explaining curriculum.
• Passing students who haven’t demonstrated mastery.
• Managing classroom behavior (students are gifted and motivated).
• Building lesson plans from scratch or redesigning existing curriculum.
• Grading papers, managing administrative paperwork, or attending irrelevant meetings.

Requirements

• Willing to work on-site in Georgetown, TX (relocation support provided).
• Bachelor's degree in any subject.
• Demonstrated history of academic excellence (e.g., National Merit Scholar, academic competitions, early college graduation).
• 3+ years working directly with gifted students in a GT program, gifted education track, or formally identified gifted learner setting.
• Daily user of generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar) in an educational or professional context.
• Legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Background as a competitive athlete, academic competitor, or elite performer.
• Experience running structured workshops or presentations for youth audiences.
• Prior experience with mastery-based or competency-based learning environments.
• Track record of using AI tools to personalize coaching or learning plans.
