About the role
The Counselor is responsible for facilitating all clinical services for the program as outlined by facility standards and in accordance with the program's clinical philosophy.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the behavioral, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and social needs of clients and their families.
- Regularly consult with the treatment team to develop and track progress toward treatment goals in line with clinical policy and accreditation guidelines.
- Facilitate clinical services for clients, including individual and family sessions, therapeutic groups, and communication with referral sources and outpatient providers as applicable.
- Maintain clinical records, ensuring appropriate documentation of clinical services and client engagement in ECR according to program policy.
- Provide timely documentation and support for utilization review, participating in the UR process as outlined in program policy.
- Assist in the development of aftercare plans and outcome data processes as needed.
- Contribute to program-specific curriculum development, literature reviews, and training in accordance with the clinical philosophy.
- Participate in the on-call rotation as directed by the supervisor and in accordance with program policy.
- Conduct Level of Care Assessments as required.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment for clients, including crisis intervention.
- Complete all required training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- MDLRS Certification
- License(s) as follows:
- LCADC
- LCSW-C
- LMSW
- LGPC
- LGADC
- CAC-AD
- CSC-AD
Qualifications
- Experience in a behavioral healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of clinical assessment tools and techniques.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
$60,000 - $70,000
Schedule
10 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with some evenings and weekends as needed.
