Counselor

Location: Framingham, MA - Massachusetts Department of Corrections Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week Pay rate: $26.92/hour ($56,000 annually) If candidates are able to successfully complete and pass an internal Spanish Fluency Assessment, employees would be eligible for a 10% salary increase, $29.6154/hour (61,000 annually) Benefits Health, dental, vision insurance/additional voluntary insurancesCompany-paid life insurance/employee assistance programsGenerous paid time off accrualTuition reimbursement/loan repayment options401k with company match up to 7%!Discounts on wide array of services/entertainment nationwide The Counselor Is Responsible For Ensuring that all inmates are provided with education in the assigned curriculum approved by the Department of Correction and are responsible for written documentation in the case recordsParticipating in a multi-disciplinary team meeting on a weekly basis or as directedWorking the hours required to meet the business needs of the organization including the ability to work more than 40 hours in a work week which may include evening and weekend programming Qualifications Qualifications: BA/MA or 2 years equivalent experience in criminal justice, human services, education or closely related field requiredDOC experience and/or Alcohol/ Drug certification preferred
