Counselor

Location: Bridgewater, MA – Old Colony Correctional Center, Boston Pre Release, and Massachusetts Treatment Center

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week. Ability to work more than 40 hours in a work week, including evening and weekend programming, as required to meet business needs.

Pay

$26.92/hour ($56,000 annually). If candidates successfully complete and pass an internal Spanish Fluency Assessment, eligible for a 10% salary increase: $29.6154/hour ($61,000 annually).

Responsibilities

• Ensure all inmates receive education in the assigned curriculum approved by the Department of Correction
• Provide written documentation in case records
• Participate in weekly (or as directed) multi-disciplinary team meetings

Qualifications

• BA/MA or 2 years equivalent experience in criminal justice, human services, education, or a closely related field required
• Department of Correction (DOC) experience and/or Alcohol/Drug certification preferred
