What You’ll Do
- Work hands-on with patients and alongside a multidisciplinary team to create a supportive, structured, and therapeutic environment.
- Provide one-on-one support sessions and facilitate group activities.
- Conduct timely, high-quality patient assessments and documentation.
- Engage patients through recovery-focused activities.
- Help patients navigate treatment barriers and stay on track.
- Aid in continuity of care planning in coordination with clinical staff.
- Support family sessions, visitation, and community interactions.
- Partner with Recovery Support Specialists and clinical staff for seamless care.
- Encourage long-term recovery through therapeutic guidance and accountability.
Job Requirements
- Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s in social work, psychology, or related field preferred.
- Experience: At least 1 year in the substance use disorder or behavioral health field.
- Skills: Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with addiction recovery, DSM criteria, co-occurring disorders, and treatment processes.
- Tech: Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

State Specific Responsibilities
- Follows organizational cybersecurity policies, including acceptable use, password management, and multi-factor authentication requirements.
- Immediately reports suspected security incidents, unauthorized access, or data breaches in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of PHI and adheres to the principle of least privilege, accessing only the minimum necessary data required to perform job functions.
