General Function

Responsible for the supervision and continued implementation of the agency's policies and procedures in all areas related to counseling and treatment programs, including all applicable documentation.

$24.59

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours a week, 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all agency policies and applicable procedures.
  • Develop, coordinate, monitor, evaluate, and document individual program planning according to the specific needs of each client, including program goals, referrals, and individual, family, and group counseling strategies.
  • Guide, monitor, and document relevant aspects of resident movement, behavior, and progress.
  • Use the FreshStart Client Management System in a timely manner.
  • Submit resident release plans, home confinement plans, and termination letters on time.
  • Communicate all relevant information to supervisory staff regarding the agency, facility, and residents.
  • Provide staff duty coverage as scheduled.
  • Attend and participate in all required meetings.
  • Initiate and maintain cooperative and effective liaison activities with supervising authorities, other agencies, community groups, and professional associations.
  • Work all necessary hours to staff the center in the event of a work stoppage.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Four-year degree in social human services, criminal justice, or behavioral science from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in human services or community-based services.
  • Proficiency in using a personal computer (PC) with current versions of the Windows operating system.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Understanding of basic PC concepts (files, file paths, copying, pasting, deleting, and moving files) and operation of common office machinery.
  • Strong typing, spelling, grammar, organizational, and phone skills.
