Counselor
Responsibilities
Provide evidence-based, face-to-face, goal-oriented individual and group counseling services, while actively participating as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
Promote a family-centered approach to care by encouraging the involvement of children, families, and community partners in the treatment process.
Offer evidence-based substance use and mental health counseling, including individual and group therapy, treatment planning, case coordination, and clinical documentation in compliance with DMH, CSTAR, and COA standards.
Assess needs and help individuals find their path forward.
Qualifications
Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Missouri.
Experience working with individuals and families in a mental health setting.
Knowledge of evidence-based practices and treatment modalities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
