Counselor

What You'll Do

• Deliver quality and competent care to all BCCS clients, including individual, family, and group counseling.
• Complete all scheduled intakes & assessments and make appropriate recommendations for either education or outpatient treatment.
• Create a treatment plan based on client’s assessment and document all clinical services and interventions performed within the client’s electronic record.
• Maintain client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Facilitate groups using identified curriculum and confer with the Clinical Supervisor on a daily basis for cases.
• Ensure the DUI tracking system is updated within the identified timeline with client status.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum of an associate degree with CADC, or bachelor's degree REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field.
• REQUIREMENT: 1 year experience in the Substance Abuse Field and/or Mental Health.
• Within 2 years, must have obtained certification as CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor).

Schedule

Monday - Thursday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., One late shift during the week of 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Starting at $21/hour, Commensurate with experience, education, and certification!
