Counselor

Role Overview: Responsible for planning, coordinating, developing, and implementing individual and group counseling programs for students, ensuring compliance with government and management directives. Key Duties Review student backgrounds, conduct interviews, and analyze needs to recommend personalized programs.Maintain confidential student records and documentation.Provide direct support for students facing personal, health, or family issues, including emergency leaves and UA retrievals.Offer ongoing educational, personal, and social adjustment counseling; recommend program modifications as needed.Monitor and evaluate student progress, coordinate case management, and improve guidance techniques.Refer students for medical or psychological evaluations and participate in mental health teams; assist with program transfers and college placements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 15 semester hours in social services and one year of counseling or related experience. Excellent communication, youth experience, computer skills, and a valid driver’s license are required.
