About the role
This position assists clients in an AOD Inpatient setting with case management, individual and group counseling, and recovery support services.
Responsibilities
- Assist counselors with treatment goals and connect clients to community resources.
- Aid in creating and implementing service plans for clients during treatment and aftercare.
- Enforce program guidelines and assist supervisors in daily activities, policy development, and record maintenance.
- Collaborate with counselors and community resources to support client recovery and reduce recidivism and relapse.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in the human services), or a related field.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in the human services), or a related field.
- Associate Degree from an accredited college in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in the human services), or a related field.
Qualifications
Act 33/34 and a high degree of ethics are required.
