Counseling (MA Program) - Adjunct Faculty

About the Role
This adjunct faculty position involves teaching either Research Methods and Evaluation (Spring Semester, 2nd 8 weeks) or Theories and Techniques of Career Counseling (Summer Semester). These are in-person evening courses, offered Tuesdays from 5:30–9:30 PM. Adjunct load will vary based on the capabilities of the Adjunct Professor and the needs of the program.
Responsibilities
- Educate and equip students to lead lives of impact through transformative academics in a Christ-centered community.
- Actively participate in creating a Christ-centered community by agreeing with and abiding by Bethel’s core beliefs as outlined in the Affirmation of Faith, Community Covenant, and Key Policies.
- Uphold and model the Community Covenant commitments in teaching, mentoring students, and collaborating with colleagues.
- Serve as a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ by partnering with the University to carry out its mission and foster its Christ-centered covenant community.
Qualifications
- Content area expertise required.
- Experience teaching adult students preferred.
- Enthusiasm for teaching and counseling practice.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide substantive feedback.
- Flexibility and problem-solving skills.
- Respect for diverse perspectives.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (sponsorship is not available).
