Counsel or Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Dominion Energy seeks an experienced state regulatory attorney with the skills and demeanor to work directly with regulatory and business unit teams to accomplish Company regulatory goals.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

• Counsel: 3+ years legal experience related to the above responsibilities.
• Senior Counsel: 5+ years legal experience related to the above responsibilities.
• Significant state regulatory experience preferred.
• Experience with understanding and implementing strategic business values and objectives.
• Excellent analyst, advocate, and presenter of legal points, both through oral advocacy and legal writing.
• Pioneering ability to develop and manage complex legal cases and projects.
• Exhibits good people skills, business sense, and awareness of the industry.
• Independent judgment, and initiative, and ability to work directly with clients and develop and maintain positive relationships with internal clients as well as with individuals outside the company.
• Ability to participate in team environment and work effectively with team members.

Education Requirements

• Required Degree: Juris Doctorate.

• Office Work Environment: 76 - 100%
• Travel: Up to 25%

Expected Hiring Base Salary Range

• Senior Counsel: $169800 - $220500
• Counsel: $131800 - $171200
