Responsibilities

• Repair of industrial robotic components and PLCs
• Troubleshoot and identify root causes of robotics and electronic failures
• Troubleshoot electronics to board-level components
• Solder through-hole and surface-mount components
• Use basic hand tools
• May be required to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as business needs dictate

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience repairing electronics
• Experience with Fanuc, Motoman, Allen Bradley, and Siemens
• Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens ladder logic
• Able to home and perform basic robotic programming
• Complete understanding of DDM, oscilloscope, function generator, variable power supplies, and other lab test equipment
• Effective communication and interaction skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check

Skills

• Programming experience with C++ (a plus)
• Cable troubleshooting and building (a plus)
• Experience with Profibus and CAN bus (a plus)

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand and walk
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, and squat
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds (light hand tools, etc.)
• Manual dexterity and repetitive motion tasks
