About the Role
COTALAND is an amusement park with over 30 attractions and experiences, including first-of-their-kind roller coasters, located at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) in Austin, TX. The Bartender at COTALAND plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized bar environment. We’re looking for skilled and personable bartenders to join our team and help create memorable experiences for our guests in a fast-paced theme park setting.

Responsibilities
- Clean, sanitize, and properly store all bar tools and glassware
- Maintain cleanliness of all back-of-house areas including service wells, prep areas, walk-ins, storage rooms, floors, walls, and drains
- Assist in removal of trash, recycling, and compost throughout shifts to maintain a safe work environment
- Support daily opening, operating, and closing procedures
- Follow all health department regulations, food safety guidelines, TABC guidelines, and COTALAND policies
- Maintain awareness of safety in a high-energy, high-guest-volume environment
- Communicate equipment issues, supply shortages, or safety concerns to leadership
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Provide friendly, attentive service and engage with guests professionally
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area
- Check customer identification and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy shifts
- Monitor guest behavior and promote a safe, enjoyable environment
Requirements
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to follow instructions and work well with others
- Basic understanding of wine, beer, and spirits
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- TABC certification
Previous high-volume bartending experience is preferred but not required; training is provided.

Pay
Starting pay: $16.00 per hour + tips
Schedule
Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Ability to stand, sit, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to squat, bend, twist, push/pull
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods
- Close and distance vision abilities required
- Work in extreme outdoor environments throughout the year
- Moderate to loud noise levels during events
