COTA - Travel Contract

About the role

We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a great facility. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you’ll help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life. The assignment is located in Los Alamos, New Mexico, offering access to Bandelier National Monument, Jemez Mountains, skiing, hiking, museums, dining, and outdoor recreation.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in regaining daily living skills under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Provide therapy services in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
• Active state license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility is required.
