COTA - Travel Contract

About the role

We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a great facility. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you’ll help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life. Sheridan, Wyoming offers access to outdoor recreation and historic downtown amenities, including Kendrick Park and the Trail End State Historic Site, Bighorn National Forest about 30 miles west for hiking, fishing, and scenic drives, and the city sits along Interstate 90 with Sheridan County Airport supporting regional travel.

Responsibilities

• Help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college
• Active state license required to start the assignment
• BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC
• Skilled nursing facility and long term care setting experience required
