COTA- Inpatient Therapy

About the role

Performs occupational therapy procedures and other related tasks under the direction of an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L). Supervises technicians, volunteers, and students as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
  • Education: Graduate of AOTA accredited educational program for Occupational Therapists Assistants required.
  • Current Alabama license.
  • BCLS certification within orientation period.
  • A member of AOTA preferred.
• Experience: None required.
• Additional Skills/Abilities: Excellent communication skills with the ability and willingness to work with all patients in a fast-paced environment.
