Our client is hiring a licensed Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to work under the supervision and direction of an Occupational Therapist while helping patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities develop, recover, and improve the skills they need for everyday life.
Located in Roseburg, Oregon, the area offers a variety of recreational opportunities and cultural attractions, including beautiful parks such as Stewart Park with walking trails and picnic areas, nearby Umpqua National Forest for hiking, fishing, and camping, and local community events showcasing the region's rich cultural heritage.
Responsibilities
Work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to assist patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities in developing, recovering, and improving the skills needed for everyday life.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college
- Active State License is required to start the position
- BLS Certification may be required from AHA or ARC
- Experience in skilled nursing facilities is preferred
