Adoration Home Health is seeking a passionate, dedicated Home Health Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Chattanooga, TN. Our Home Health COTAs provide expert, patient‑centered care, working independently while also receiving team support in a supportive, fulfilling environment.

Office location: Chattanooga, TN. Coverage area: Hamilton.

Schedule

PRN (as needed) with flexible scheduling options for greater work/life balance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing vocational and educational activities designed to restore and reinforce individuals' task performance and promote overall health and self‑sufficiency.
• Conduct community reintegration activities to address occupational therapy needs during physical activity.
• Provide training to individuals and others involved in their rehabilitation, documenting training results.
• Support individuals' plan of treatment by documenting and reporting status changes to the rehabilitation specialist, clinical coordinator, attending physician, and other treatment team members as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Degree from a certified occupational therapy assistant training program.
• Current Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) certification.
• Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and neuro‑rehabilitation techniques.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience assisting in the assessment and management of traumatic brain injury or related neurological conditions.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.
