Responsibilities
- Establish lines of communication with various departments to integrate information for accurate reporting.
- Utilize effective communication processes to disseminate timely cost information and enhance project decision-making.
- Communicate with suppliers, project staff, and other stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies or cost tracking issues.
- Work with multiple departments to monitor, share, and analyze data for more accurate project forecasting.
- Assist in annual budget development, preparation, and associated reporting.
- Assist in contract review with project staff to ensure understanding of contract terms, unit codes, and costs for accurate tracking and forecasting.
- Develop or assist in the development of project controls guidelines, standards, processes, job aids, and tools.
- Implement cost preventive actions.
- Perform standard and special project cost reporting as required by stakeholders; compile and produce cost reports.
- Assess project stakeholders for their cost reporting, assessment, and analysis needs, and provide optimal communication and information.
- Maintain multiple project cost control data files for detailed and summary-level information across various project stages.
- Process project timesheets and maintain the timesheet database.
- Ensure correctness of submitted invoices by referencing the timesheet database and conformed contracts.
- Obtain payment approval for invoices from Project Managers.
- Communicate all results and issues to the Manager of Project Controls and other departments.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in project controls/coordination, cost estimating, or related fields.
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
Pay
$27 - $36 an hour
