Cost & Pricing Analyst

About the role

The Cost and Pricing Analyst provides support for Undefinitized Contract Action (UCA) Foreign Military Sales (FMS). During the undefinitized period, the analyst determines allowable costs, ensuring adherence to all financial guidelines and regulations. The role also supports negotiating the final price and provides detailed cost and pricing analysis to ensure pricing is fair and reasonable for all parties involved.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed cost and pricing analysis for FMS contracts, ensuring compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
• Work with contracting officers and foreign governments to negotiate contract terms and pricing
• Ensure the submission of certified cost or pricing data when required and verify the adequacy of price competition
• Manage costs associated with doing business with foreign governments, including selling expenses and post-delivery support services

Qualifications

• 4 years of prior experience in defense contracting or FMS pricing
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
• Active DoD Secret clearance—must have and maintain
