Cost Planning Model Leader

About the Role

As a Procurement Lead for New Model Activities, you will oversee key aspects of new model development within the procurement department, including cost analysis, schedule management, target setting, and risk mitigation to ensure project success for North American Power Sports & Products.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement efforts for new models by managing parts lists, schedules, budgets, and change conditions, directly impacting profitability and investment decisions.
• Prepare and present monthly summaries for leadership to facilitate real-time issue resolution and cost planning.
• Collaborate across departments such as design, project management, and manufacturing to ensure report accuracy and address downstream impacts.
• Execute special projects to improve development KPIs and support training for team members.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 5+ years in automotive or PS&P fields, or 9+ years without degree.
• Proficiency with Honda Purchasing systems, Excel, PowerPoint, and database management (QMF/SQL).
• Strong project management, planning, presentation, and interdepartmental coordination skills.
