Cost Estimator - Hollow Metal

Responsibilities

• Read and analyze specs and construction documents to understand what’s needed.
• Use estimating software to price out materials.
• Work closely with vendors to get product info and accurate pricing.
• Collaborate with coworkers and departments to develop smart bid strategies.
• Spot potential issues or opportunities to make our bids stronger.
• Help refine our pricing systems and adapt to changes in the industry.
• Juggle multiple projects, deadlines, and updates in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers.
• Good communication skills – email, phone, and face‑to‑face.
• Ability to read and work from electronic and paper documents.
• Organized and able to manage shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the construction estimating field.
• Must be based onsite in Green Bay, WI with regular and punctual attendance.
• No direct construction experience required; we will train the right candidate who is motivated and willing to learn.
