About the role
Support a large-scale data center campus program by developing detailed civil, structural, and architectural (CSA) estimates for complex facilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage cost plans and estimates across multiple phases and geographies.
- Provide program-level estimating to aid decision-making.
- Present milestone cost updates, clearly communicating assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
- Lead quantity takeoffs and ensure scope, drawings, and estimates align.
- Review contractor bids, perform cost comparisons, and support change evaluations.
- Build cost models, maintain historical data, and support lifecycle cost analyses.
- Facilitate value engineering and develop cost and schedule trade-offs.
- Support procurement activities including bid analysis and tender reporting.
- Collaborate with teams to align estimating with budgets and project controls.
- Assess design changes and update estimates accordingly.
- Lead and mentor estimating staff, develop tools, and prepare client-facing materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in large-scale construction estimating, preferably in data centers or mission-critical projects.
- Expertise in conceptual estimating, quantity takeoff, and cost fundamentals.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CostX, with familiarity in AutoCAD or Navisworks advantageous.
- Preferred professional accreditation or active certification progress.
