Duties
- Establish and maintain the CBS and project’s WBS.
- Perform cost control and forecasting, including variance analysis, trend identification, and change management in line with best practices on cost/schedule integration.
- Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, trend analysis, VOWD, and executive-level dashboards summarizing project financial health.
- Collaborate with Planning/Scheduling, Procurement, and Project Management teams to ensure integrated cost and schedule control.
- Track contracts and purchase orders invoices, trends, change requests, and commitments against approved budgets.
- Support risk analysis and contingency determination using quantitative methods.
- Manage contingency and reserve.
- Apply Earned Value Management principles to measure project performance, calculating CPI, SPI, EAC, ETC, and variance at completion.
- Reconcile invoices and Sox control.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry best practices for cost engineering and project controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of post-grad professional experience in cost engineering, financial analysis and reporting, or project controls.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and effective communication skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
