Cost Control Analyst II

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project labor and expense plans.
• Perform cost forecasting using accounting and project management tools.
• Process project and client billings with accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct comprehensive financial reviews of assigned projects.
• Collaborate regularly with the cost control team, Project Directors/Managers, and field staff to reinforce financial procedures and ensure alignment with internal policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in cost control or financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and standards.
• In-depth knowledge of design and/or construction accounting practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and active listening skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in labor and cost planning, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Comprehensive understanding of cost control policies, internal processes, and a risk-based approach to financial oversight.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
