Responsibilities
- Invoicing: Full-cycle project billing processing including invoicing the customer, and collecting, verifying and approving subcontractor and vendor invoices.
- Collaboration: Work with Project Managers and Superintendents to verify compliance with contracts and subcontractor budgets.
- Cost Impact Analysis: Review and analyze cost impacts associated with contract claims, incentives, and penalties as well as assessing the financial implications of project scope changes and delays, providing recommendations for budget adjustments.
- Budget Realignment: Make recommendations for realigning project budgets and contingencies based on project scope changes, actual costs, and estimates to complete.
- Presentations: Prepare, coordinate, and deliver project budget and cost presentations to internal management and to the client, as required.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in construction management, business or related field, or equivalent professional training and experience.
- 2+ years cost accounting and project controls experience.
- Experience with budget development, cost control management, and analysis.
- Comfortable working with all levels and functions in a constructive fashion to achieve organizational objectives.
- Experience with building cash flows for long duration construction projects.
- Advanced Excel abilities (Pivot tables, VLookup, SumIf).
- Ability to travel occasionally to other offices and job sites.
- Effective communication skills across a broad spectrum of departments.
